OSARA, KOGI STATE – The management of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has expelled two students over their alleged involvement in a same-sex relationship, while four other students have been suspended for one academic session following their involvement in a fight. The disciplinary measures were announced after the university’s Students’ Disciplinary Committee concluded its investigation into the incidents and submitted its recommendations to the institution’s management.
According to the university, the actions were taken in line with its regulations governing students’ conduct and were aimed at maintaining discipline, order, and the institution’s core values. The management stated that it remains committed to enforcing its rules fairly and ensuring that all students adhere to the standards of behaviour expected within the university community. It added that disciplinary decisions are reached through established procedures designed to uphold due process and institutional integrity.
